It is no news that the initiative of a more-green lifestyle has been a growing focus over the past few years. As natural resources become more scarce (and expensive), engineers need to understand the environmental and economic impacts of their decisions. This presentation will attempt to explore some direct and indirect ways engineers will have an impact on the future of our planet - with sound economical decision making and environmental stewardship.

Jamie Steffie is a Senior Design and Development Engineer who has been with Lutron Electronics for 10 years. Jamie received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Penn State in 1999, and completed his MBA at Lehigh University in 2003.
