Svetlana Tatic-Lucic Ph.D.

Sherman Fairchild 310

Prof. Tatic-Lucic’s current research is focused on applications of micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) in cell biology and neuroscience, such as determining of mechanical properties of cells and studying patterned neuronal networks. Her work is directed on developing novel BioMEMS tools that will enable researchers in biomedical field to understand, measure and analyze underlying processes and properties of living materials and systems in unprecedented ways. Dr. Tatic-Lucic served on numerous international conference program committees. She is an author of over sixty journal and conference refereed publications and holder of three patents. She received the NSF CAREER Award, Alfred Noble Robinson Award from Lehigh and P.C. Rossin Assistant Professorship.
