      Short Biography:

    Dr. M. Jamil received his B.S. (Physics), M.S. (Physics, 1996), M.Phil. (Physics, 2000) from Gordon College Rawalpindi (Pakistan), University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and Quaid-i-Azam University (Pakistan), respectively. Subsequently, he received his M.S. (Physics, 2003) and Ph.D. (NanoEngineering: Optoelectronics, 2006) from State University of New York-Albany. Previously, Dr. Jamil had conducted research on MOCVD epitaxy of GaN and AlGaN material systems, as well as heteroepitaxy on novel compliant substrates. Currently, Dr. Jamil worked as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the MOCVD Lab (Tansu Group) at Lehigh until June 2008, on MOCVD epitaxy of dilute-nitride and III-Nitride optoelectronics materials and devices, and he also has more than 8 publications to his credit. He is currently working as Postdoctoral Fellow in Electrical & Computer Engr. Department in Georgia Tech University.
